I ordered a Gold Anodized Pickguard about a couple of months ago. I actually had forgotten about it. I received it today and have decided that I don't want it.

Again, it's brand new.

It's "brand new." When you bought it, you must have known the make or brand. Can you link to the page from which you ordered it?

It does matter. Some are different than others.
