FS: BYOC Compressor Ross Specs & Boss NS-2

BYOC three knob compressor built to Ross specs, works great I just don't use it, I've never been a compressor guy.

Boss NS-2: Mint condition, with the exception of velcro on the bottom of the pedal. This isn't necessary now that I've installed the Suhr backplate system in my only strat.

$60 for the NS-2 and $70 for the BYOC Compressor

How would you compare that compressor with a dynacomp?

i've never used a dynacomp but my byoc ross self built 3 knob comp is the bomb. i use it to juice clean tones through my shiva and while it can get noisy maxed out.. at mid settings it takes the spikes off and fills out nicely. on the lead channel it gives me searing sustain without loss of dynamics.. it's the most useful pedal comp ive ever had and i built one for a bro of mine and he loves it too..

Thanks pixel for your answer. Are these compressors transparent or do they change your tone a lot? I am not that familiar with the BYOC kits. Do they come with good quality components?

I don't find that it changes the tone much if at all.. just the dynamics & attack like you'd expect. As far as I know the byoc kits are "good" quality components but of course you can always upgrade something!

Thanks for answering questions in my thread, I've been out of it since friday with a cold. If I can add anything of value here the BYOC kits are shipped with metal film caps, resistors anf high quality transistors. The parts they ship with are definitely above average in terms of quality.
