great shape. Plenty of hours at high volume/well broken in. 8ohms.

To me they are Defenders/Screaming era Judas Priest in a speaker, tonally. Great thick midrange, loud, big bass, and sustainy. Yet they also remind me of early ZZ Top. its the thick mids.

$90.00 tyd con 48 USA.

How would this compare to a Celestion Gold? I have a Gold I am not crazy about, great tones but a bit to warm and smooth for my tastes. I want something with some hair on the notes.

i got rid of the gold i had, thought it sounded flat. im a big fan of the g12h-30. its more aggressive on top with a bigger bottom than a g12m greenback. ive used mine in my deluxe reverb with good results but it lives in my 5e3 now. sounds great!

Well the v30 is more similar to the gold than the H30, but both are still a fair ways off.

The h30 70th is just like Jeremy said...big bass, more aggressive top, and also cutting mids. Definitely "hairy".
