FS: Celtic Diedre 30 Head

Re: FS: Celtic Diedre 30 Head

The first channel is based on a Vox AC30 not a Fender, and the second channel is more agressive. I don't think that it is based on any particular Marshall, but it definately can get that Marshall vibe. I use both channels via an ABY box. The cool thing about having two different pre amps and an ABY box is that you can use each channel seperately or run both channels together for some cool tones. Like I said before the Celtic is based on a Matchless C-30 so the sound clips on the web site will give you a good idea of what you will be getting. This amp will be staying with me if it does not sell this week.

Re: FS: Celtic Diedre 30 Head

I feel really bad to do this, but I have to put her back up for sale so that I can pay for the Becker CPA review course and the CPA exams (over $2,500). Diedre really needs to go to someone who can open her up at gigs, and I don't have the time or money at this point in my life. Same deal, NFS. If you want the V30 loaded OS 2X12 Bogner that I used with it then maybe we can work out a package deal. Hopefully when I am making more money in a few years I will be able to get another Celtic from Scott.

Bump. I have not been very active on this forum for a while, have Celtic Amps got less popular since I have been gone?

Re: FS: Celtic Diedre 30 Head

If you're gonna trade it at least trade it for an old Fender and not a Booger, I mean Bogner.

Well, someone from thegearpage.net is interested in purchasing the amp but unfortunately I just played it again today. I think that I am going to sell my 81 JCM 800 2204 and greenback loaded 4X12 cab instead. From a collector's standpoint I am pretty sure that the JCM 800 will be worth more in the future; however, the tone of the Diedre just slays and I know that the workmanship is much better with the Celtic. I know that I can get another great modified Marshall tone in the future, but I am not sure about the Celtic. If I could afford to keep both then I definately would, but I just don't want to go into credit card debt at this point in my life. What do you guys think?

David
