FS: Duncan Custom Shop Telecaster Neck Pickup

Duncan Custom Shop Alnico 5 neck pickup for the Fender Telecaster, hand wound by MJ in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop. Seymour calls this his "Tele ala Strat" neck pickup, and the design is intended to sound like a Stratocaster neck pickup. I checked the DC Resistance and it measures just under 6K like many vintage 50's Stratocaster pickups do.

I asked MJ to make this as an Antiquity so that it looked old.

The pickup was part of a set of custom wound Tele pickups that I ordered directly from MJ and I paid about $130 for the neck pickup if I remember right. I used it in my Fender Custom Shop Nocaster.

When I sold the Nocaster I put the bridge pickup from the set in my favorite Stratocaster and that's still where it is.

I don't have a Telecaster in need of a neck pickup, so the neck pickup from the set is for sale.

Includes two long thin screws so it can be screwed directly into the wood of the guitar as they were in the early 50's. You'd make all of your height adjustments with the pick guard removed, and then screw the pick guard back on.

However, you can also install this pick up with top mounted height adjustment screws like a Stratocaster. I'll also include two of those screws as well.

Shipping to anywhere in the USA is free.

I'm thinking $100. shipped.

Interesting.

What would it take to persuade you to ship outside the United States?

I'd do it for someone I sorta knew. It's just that I like things to be easy. No hassles. No arguments. No Paypal disputes. No returns. No "can I try it and see if I like it?" Know what I mean? :)
