Like the Title says, looking to sell my Fender Bassman 70. Not 100% sure of the exact year, all I know is at the tail end of the Silver face era Fender switched back to Blackface cosmetics. So I'm guessing this is a 80-83, but not positive. Regardless, amp works perfectly, is incredibly loud, and has the classic Fender Clean tone. Also sounds great when pushed into overdrive, but at that point it is very very loud, so yeah.
I used this as my "Large Venue" gigging amp from 2009-2013, and it proved to be very reliable, and consistently great sounding. My band's Bass Player went on to use it as her Live Bass amp up until about 6 months ago (she finally bought her own amp, haha). During that entire time it only had one issue, sometime in 2015 it developed a weird oscillation issue. Turned out to be one of the Filter caps had died, causing oscillation. So Filter caps were replaced sometime in spring of 2015, at the same time I had the tech modify the Bias circuit from the stock bias Balance, to a proper bias adjustment pot. Other than that the amp is 100% stock. And has functioned flawlessly since then.
Asking $700 or best offer
Might possibly be interested in Partial trades, but I could sorta use the cash, so a full trade would have to be something extra groovy (although feel free to pm with whatever, ya never know).
