Hey guys, part two of gear purging, and more may come in the days to come.

Up next is my beloved Engl E530. I am going with my better judgement and selling this, though I reallllllly realllly want to keep it.

As some of you know, I've been all about this thing for a while now, and used it on alot of recordings.

I bought this new, played it a bit, put TungSol's in it, and put it in the rack. It hasn't left.

It still looks amazing. It still sounds amazing.

Shouldn't be any rash, it went in there once and hasn't left- with nylon washers. But can see as it is removed.

Extras: It will come with a pair of spare 12ax7's and come in the original box. I can add a pair of livewire patching cables.

That's tempting as hell. How do you like that Velocity power amp? I've thought about getting one of the 300's.

To be honest I almost never used it-
I picked it up for under 150 from guitarcenter to use with the engl until I could get a mesa power amp, and it pretty much sat in the rack
The few times I used it, I was surprised at how true the claims were of its 'tubeyness'
But the rack only left my house like twice; and because of tube amps have always been nearby for recording, there was no reason to cut it on =/
I've considered keeping it as a backup but now I'm saying the same thing about like 4 amps haha
Supposedly the 300 has more features (and obviously more watts)
I will probably end up selling mine for under 100

Right now I'm looking into a temporary solution to my monitor needs
But 8"?

Actually, that's the size you want to use, it gives you the proper bass response without needing a sub. If you're serious, drop me a PM, we'll see what we can work out.

Does the preamp have a cab simulator on it?

It does but I've never used it- from what I understand it's nothing special.
Impulse cabs / real cabs, ftw
