Was planning on selling just the pickups but I really need money at the moment and I'm thinking about building a strat later down the road. For sale is my Candy Apple Red EJ strat that i've owned for the past 3 years. The only mods are wiring with a SOZO cap to make the second tone pot like a mid boost (very versatile and I plan to do this wiring again on the next strat I own) & I swapped the original super sticky EJ neck for a very nice silky Fender American Standard rosewood neck with gotoh vintage tuners from another strat I owned previously. Other than a few light dings, nothing to the wood, from play wear the only bad thing about this is the previous owner got over zealous with a screw gun after a neck adjustment with the original neck and cracked the finish around the neck plate and sunk in on the wood a little. I have had NO issues with anything (tuning, neck stability, no loosening from play) and I've had the neck off plenty of times that if anything were to occur I would have noticed by now and this guitar gets a lot of play time . The guitar plays incredibly well and the tone with these pickups and the rosewood neck is stellar. This was going to be THE strat for me but I am forced to part with at least one guitar to cover my finances PM me for any more info or if you're interested!
