FS Feeler: Custom travel sized LP studio

My father runs a custom shop and he built this for me to take on business trips, but I've found myself moving away from electrics to acoustics, so I'm considering selling it to fund a purchase of a decent travel sized acoustic. It hasn't seen any serious playing, I went through one set of strings on it. It's pretty much still new. I'm playing guitar only as a hobby every other day, and have 5 electrics (damn GAS), so neither of them has seem any real action, unfortunately.

As far as specs go, it's an all-mahogany with full scale (24 3/4") but reduced size body and headstock. I wanted to keep the playability and feel of the full sized LP, but make it portable. Neck is bolt-on, but uses threaded brass blocks and allen screws to avoid any damage in case it needs to be assembled and disassembled many times. You can tighten it down without the risk of damaging wood. It's super easy to pack for travel when neck is removed, it fits into a carry on bag easily and is very light (I can weigh it if needed). All-mahogany construction makes for a bit warmer sounding guitar than having a maple cap.

Pickups are the awesome dimarzio 36th pafs, chrome covered. Tuners are hipshot open gear locking which work and look great. I originally installed grover minis, but was not happy with them, so I changed them immediately with these. Has only volume pot and a standard LP switch. Bridge is gotoh TOM and there's no tailpiece, instead it uses string through mounting. The neck is three piece for added stability and shaped like 60s LP. Fingerboard is rosewood with trapezoid inlays and gibson-sized frets.

Finish is brown stain and gun stock oil, very comfortable to hold and leaves the wood to breathe.

The first pic is an HDR shot which doesn't represent the color very well, in person it's closer to other pics.

Here's a YT recording I did as a test

As far as price goes, I was thinking $550. Should be more than fair, considering the quality of all parts installed, the build and uniqueness of the guitar. Please note that I won't be able to ship in the next 2-3 weeks, as I'm not in the states yet. I've dealt with forum members multiple times, with no issues on either side.

Ask questions :) PM or email to <my forum nick> at gmail dot com

Cheers,
Bane

You are out of PM space. The deal sounds good to me. Send me your info when you get back.
