I'm selling an '05 Fender Standard Tele special edition with ash body, natural finish. I had GraphTech GHOST piezo-acoustic saddles installed along with a preamp. The guitar is in immaculate shape, the finish still mirror smooth from the factory. No buckle rash, no nicks, no marks. I never played it out.

I hand-picked this guitar at the local GC for resonance, neck feel, and fret-job, and all three are amazing. The ash body is gorgeous and gives this guitar a clear, cutting tone. The finish was stunningly perfect from the factory. Tuning is rock solid, neck is straight, action is low, pickups are quiet and shimmeringly clean.

The GHOST saddles cost $130 by themselves, plus preamp and installation. They are the best sounding acoustic saddles out there, in my opinion. The GHOST pickups are run in stereo (TRS) with the magnetic pickups, and the preamp has a mini-toggle to turn power on and off. It runs off a 9v under the control plate, which lasts forever. The acoustic sound is incredible and almost as good as my acoustic's pickup.

Selling with SKB Freedom case, original allen wrenches, and Dunlop dual action strap-lock buttons installed. Thanks!

Guitar (used price) - $375
Case (used price) - $50
Saddles (used price) - $100
Preamp - $50
Pro Installation - $50
Setup - $25

Value added up - $650, only asking $525 shipped for forum bros! PM me! Price dropped to $475 SHIPPED!!

Wow!! That is one gorgeous Tele.
Did you replace the pickguard or did it come with the white three ply?

Still available?

Still available! :D

Thanks! The pictures don't quite do the gloss justice. Whoever put this one together cared about quality of work, I think.

It came stock with that guard. This one is actually a special edition that they issued shortly before they started regular production of ash Standards (that now come with a tortoise guard). The special edition came in a couple of colors, one of which was a dark blue, I think. I didn't upload a picture of it, but on the back of the headstock, it has a Fender Special Edition logo. Pretty cool.
