Selling or trading this Strat. It is a Fender Custom Shop 1960 NOS reissue. Comes with original case and all case candy.

It is a rare example of a Custom Shop Stratocaster that is both a vintage correct reissue and has figured maple. Normally you only get flamed maple or birdseye with the "classic" custom shop guitars which have 2-point trems and heavy tuners.

Outright sale is $1800 shipped CONUS.

Trades I am looking for (cash might flow in one direction or other):

• Similar Strat but a 50ties style with one-piece maple neck and V profile
• Similar value Fender CS Precision or Jazz bass
• MM Stingray with one-piece figured maple neck, gloss finish
• A 1960s style Tele with binding in red or blue is also a possibility
• Aqua
• Other basses for partial trades: some higher end Warwicks (Infinity etc)

Fender used a lot of figured wood in the 1990's. It might be the angle, but the side of the headstock opposite the tuners has that curve that is gone in later models. John Page era perhaps?

This guitar was made June 23, 1994.

Frets are 0.083 x 0.036.

Neck at first fret looks like 0.75". I'd rate it as a C shape, with
soft corners.

The case has some scuffs and is missing one of the metal posts.

0.75" is incredibly skinny for a Fender neck. Are you sure about the width?

It's the thickness, not the nut width

Yes; I know. Is it really only 0.75"? That's the same as Warmoth's Wizard II profile.
