I hate to part with this, but I gotta thin the herd.
This is a MIM Fender Roadhouse Strat that I got from forum bro Butch. He apparently didn't like the Eric Clapton mid-boost, and made it full passive. I had a set of Duncan Livewire Classic II's sitting here, and this thing had a battery box. It was a match made in heaven.
Sweet, clean, hum-free, Strat sound, with the buffered ability to drive oddball input impedance's. (Think, old school wah's.)
Pearloid pickguard.
$600, OBO. Shipping, will be what it will be.
If this doesn't sell as-is, I'll entertain the idea of keeping the pups, at a reduced price. But the Livewire Classic II's suit this thang beautifully.
And Butch, if you want your old Strat back, I can hand deliver it to you.
I'll also go as far South as Tampa.
