FS/(FT?): Fender Mexican Standard Strat

Really have some bad GAS for a G&L, so I'm gonna have to put this up to partially fund the would-be purchase.

Very cool guitar....got it maybe a little over a month ago. If I'm reading the serial correctly, it's 1996. Great neck, good wood, stays in tune well and it sounds great! It's black, when I got it had the black pearl pickguard on it. I haven't checked to see what pups; might be the standard ones, but since the pickguard change, you never know...they do sound pretty good, IMO. I tried to check this, but one of the pickguard screws is busted and I just became too lazy to get it out. :smack:

If you take it for the $300 + shipping I'm asking, I'll throw in a nice mint green pickguard and a pack of strings of your choice. Really nice, slightly worn in (guitars in excellent condition, a few scratches here and there maybe...just has the worn in feel to it) feel to it.

I'd prefer to sell it, but I'll definitely consider some trades...as I said, this will most likely to be fund a G&L, but I also have some things on my 'list,' so just lemme know what ya got, and we'll talk! Thanks!

I have a G&L Legacy I might sell (if you go back a couple of posts you will find it) It is Fullerton Red with gun oil tint neck. It has a Hotrails in the bridge but I would put the original pickup in before I sold it. I was looking at getting around $700, could deal a little. Let me know.
