AlNiCo 5 PAFs from Gibson.

Because sometimes when you need a PAF, you get a no ****, "I got the sticker to prove it" PAF.

Will trade for COVERED humbuckers that I like. Tell me what you have. A set is preferred. I'm interested in AlNiCo 2.
I am not interested in black pickups.
I am not interested in zebra pickups.
I am not interested in creme pickups.
I am not interested in white pickups.
I want covered humbuckers, because I believe that the covers give the sound that I hear in my head.

I am aware that my Dot looks awesome with zebra pickups, and that it will look like **** with chrome or gold covered pickups.

Have you considered just swapping the A5's out for A2's?

I've found that because of the wind, BB's don't smooth out like something along the lines of a 57 even with A2, assuming that's what immortal OP is looking for.

I considered that, but these are really great pickups. I like them, and if I had another HH guitar, I'd put them in that, but my Dot is my only HH guitar, and I really want that covered, A2 sound.

I am not opposed to swapping magnets, but, let's be real - Burstbucker Pros are sought after and hold enough value for me to either trade, even-steven, or fund the purchase of some good covered A2 humbuckers.

It's simply easier to get the right pickups for this guitar than it would be to try and make these the right pickups, if you know what I mean.

That's awesome, man!

Sorry you had to sit through the demo with that awful Blackheart amp.

It's hard to capture the fullness of a humbucker on camera, but if there's anything I could pass along to you, it's that the neck pickup is full, woody, and warm, and the bridge is strong and clear. I'm not very good at demonstrating gear, so a little supporting text never hurts!
