maybe a 490t with a random alnico magnet of your choice(i think i've got a2, a4, a5, and a8. gotta check) or a jazzN with the same magnet deal? currently i've got both of them in guitars. the 490t is cool just isn't tight enough without enough output for my SG even with a8. the jazzN on the other hand has an a2 in it with a nickel cover on it and is in the bridge spot of a random strat i've got laying around. it does the early green day thing pretty well, maybe even a little early VH when going for brown.
