FS/FT: Mosrite Fuzzrite Clone.....

I have a Fuzzrite clone I built from a Mahoney circuit board. This is such a cool fuzz. It has all the modern features like true bypass switching, LED and 9v plug.

It was meticulously wired up by me and works and sounds killer. Here's your chance to get an accurate clone of an original for a It now has knobs that are basically giant versions of Fulltone knobs. I like them better than the Fender knobs.

I'll take $65 shipped and PayPal for her. I will think about trades too. Whatcha got?

Here it is next to another Fuzzrite clone that a dude on eBay builds and sells for twice the cost of mine. If I must say, I like my wiring better than his. ;-)

Germanium or silicon (sorry I don't know if you can tell by looking)

I honestly do not know. I would say silicon. Do germaniums come in the small, black kind? Germs are usually a little larger right?

Sorry I am useless on this one.

Hate when they make a goo blob to "protect" their circuit that's usually an exact copy of something.
I'd say those are silicon, but not sure. Germs are usually metal can style.
Cheers

That is some nasty looking copyright protection! Looks like a wad of silly putty. Sone kind of epoxy, I'd guess?

I've been wanting to try a fuzz. Are there any clips from the site where you got the design or maybe give me general idea of who's sound it may be similar to.

This is the tone I was going for when I sought a fuzz box. Listen at the solo. The reason I went "Fuzzrite" clone is because Mosrite was in the same area as Buck and made him a guitar so the likely fuzz box on this recording would have been a Mosrite Fuzzrite. The clone sounds very similar to this.

I got a big muff? That'd be a pretty fair trade, haha. It may be an older model, but I'm not too sure.

I have had a few muffs and LOVE them, however, they just a practical size for my board. Got anything else?

Re: FS/FT: Mosrite Fuzzrite Clone.....

I've got a pretty banged up vintage Boss heavy metal and a foolishly spray painted DS-1.

I could throw both at you. The onlly thing wrong with the heavy Metal is the jack, it's missing the nut and probably needs the solder connection fits. However, the DS-1 works fine. Combined, that'd probably be over $65, but that doesn't matter to me much because I'm addicted to clone pedals. :D
