FS/FT: Most of my guitars

JB_From_Hell

Jomo's Nimions
Due to the tendonitis thing, I don't see myself being able to play any of these any longer. I've decided that I'm gonna get some dough together, so that once my wrist is healed, if I find something that's comfortable to play, I can actually buy it :) And if it doesn't heal properly, I wouldn't really need a bunch of guitars laying around anyway.

As far as prices go, I don't have a clue. If you're interested in something, either make me an offer, or I'll come up with a price.

As far as trades go, I need something with a beefy neck. Either way, you can probably get some pretty sweet deals from me :)

Yamaha Pacifica 921: swamp ash body, Warmoth USA neck, DiMarzio pickups

Kramer Focus 6000: Right now, it's just a Focus neck and body, plus an ESP licensed Floyd (no pickups or electronics)

Peavey Predator: Early 90s MIA model, great Strat knockoff. Black body, maple/maple neck, Bill Lawrence Keystone single coil pickups, mini-switch to get all 7 tones, locking tuners

Washburn classical: Nearly brand new (I bought it shortly after Xmas), sounds and play great for an inexpensive guitar, includes an extra set of Augustine strings

Re: FS/FT: Most of my guitars

I forgot to mention, I'm probably gonna have to part with my bass, too.

80's MIA Peavey Foundation. J-bass style, super-flamey neck, sounds and plays fantastic. The guys over at Talkbass.com really dig the stock pickups.

Re: FS/FT: Most of my guitars

Don't rush and make hasty decisions.
I had serious tendonitis and it took 5 years to heal....but it did.
I did as the docs said and stayed patient.
I'm turning pro as a guitar player in 3 months time but 3 years ago couldn't play a note !!!
As for necks, that was the key to stopping it recurring.
I find the PRS wide thin to be the most stress free profile ever.
I also love the Anderson standard profile, which is called EVEN C by Suhr and is exactly the same... I have BOTH.

When playing, make sure you warm up and try to stay relaxed.

Good luck, stay positive.... :reporter:

Re: FS/FT: Most of my guitars

Tendonitis sucks. I hope you can get a neck that os more comfortable to play without makin g the problem worse. Of course you can switch to playing lefty and then by the time your other hand develops tendonitis you can switch back to righty :) That what I do using a mouse as one wrist will wind up getting sore and then switch a few weeks back and forth to keep it from getting bad.
