dimarzio chopper and dimarzio megadrive.

both in black, great condition on both. megadrive is f-spaced (trem spaced).

they dont list the megadrive anymore, and its a great pickup! a warmer Steve's special, has amazing clarity (which is achieved by slightly scooping the mids) for prog metal and shred. i just decided to turn my RG into a metal axe from the shred monster it was before [its still purple, ha!]

the chopper is a really warm single coil sized humbucker, sounds great everywhere. again, just found i could get more vesatility by having a true single coil in my RG instead of three humbuckers.


can sell, but dont mind trades. after some things in theory, like an R2 OFR nut, phaser pedal, on/off switch, fatfinger, maybe some other effects pedals....

will consider any combination and can happily trade both pickups (maybe something else) for one thing. so hit me with what you got laying round guys!

BTW, the Multi Chorus is in great condition!

Does that Megadrive have 1 rail and 6 screw heads on the other coil?

also, is there enough lead wire on the megadrive for the neck position of an RG? (I know it's pretty much a bridge position humbucker, and I hear is very hot...)

yes, it does have one rail, 6 screws.

just a under 30 cm's of wire on it. that enough for you? :laugh2:

its actually not THAT hot because its voiced so the mids are slighlty scooped. very very clear sounding though - and because the coils are so different, you get two pretty distinct sounds from turning the hotter coil (the rail) towards the bridge or the other one! i hear it makes very cool neck pickup sounds

yes, but one that only slightly sticks out. extends by only about 5mm from the actual coil. perfect condition, only the dimarzio logo has rubbed off a bit and one of the rails' paint has come a little bit in one place too. this is hardly noticeable, but IMO important for you guys to know



and Kac, sorry bro a chorus isnt something i'm looking for ATM as i happen to play me mesa on the distortion channel for about 90% of the time and the stuff i'm gonna be playing with one of the bands that takes me up (a long story,,,) is gonna be pretty heavy metal.... so sorry bro.
