Yep, you read right. It was taken out of a brand new, Gibson SG and it's magnet was swapped with one from a Duncan Custom.
The closest thing I can compare it to is a Duncan Jazz "on steroids".
The coils are double black and it has it's OEM length, single braided lead wire.
