After much hand-wringing, internal debate and eventual consulting with the Oracle of Delphi, I have finally chosen to sell my 06 R8. This guitar is mint, comes with OHSC, COA, Case Candy and was Pleked. It is the ice-tea finish and actually has some beautiful grain, so it's not a pure plaintop.
Aside from the great tone, it is one of the most comfortable LP's I've ever played. It's light weight (8 lbs, 12oz.) and the neck on this baby is incredible. It is not your typical R8 neck, but is more akin to an R9, as it's thinner. It is simply a dream to play.
I'd like $2350 + $50 shipping. NYC-area players are welcome to pick up either in Hoboken NJ or in Yonkers and save on shipping.
