FS-Gibson USA LP Special, P-90's

2012 USA LP Special in sunburst. Guitar has a flat top mahogany body as well as a bound mahogany neck with maple fingerboard. Guitar has 2 P-90 pickups. Gibson invented the P-90 and it is a great sound, big and fat with overdrive but with that single coil twang you can't get with humbuckers. This is a great guitar but it has a couple of marks that have to be mentioned. There is a small chip near the input jack as well as on the neck by the nut. The guitar had been put on layaway by someone previous to my purchase, it was accidentally put on one of the orange hangers that damaged the finish in that area. Overall a great guitar with some marks that results in the low price, these were around $900.00 new, I am looking to get $550.00 shipped. Gibson gig bag with a white lining is included. Bump for a killer guitar. Jim only buys choice stuff and having played this guitar I can vouch for it being one of those examples where Gibson got it right. With Gibson you often have to try a bunch with mixed results before finding a winner. This guitar is about a good example of a special you will find. Both playability, tone, fit, finish and feel are all here. Through a Marshall I immediately got some classic rock tones from the 70'S.
I wish I had the extra cash because I would buy this one, hate to see it go.
