GMP's are the real deal folks!

Nice one Bach.

Re: FS: GMP Roxie

Sorry for hijacking, but I never knew why these were called Roxies. I am still only assuming it is the guy that played with Alice Cooper. I just got that Brutal Planet CD and Dragontown, with Roxie playing 1/2 of the guitars on there and wow! Never woulda thunk Alice Cooper would be heavy. Anyways they did a signature guitar for him from GMP? Seems odd I never heard of this guy and that GMP would make a sig guitar for a relatively unknown player or not an A-list player.

Agreed...but then again GMP was a relatively obscure company too. Too bad they went under...

Hey BachToRock. What's the scale length on those things?

25 1/2" scale length... like a Fender
Ryan Roxie may not be an "A-List" player, but he definitely knows how to rock and has good feel and roots in Classic Rock yet still knows how to shred... not a very common combination...

The Roxie is the most bad-ass tone producing machine on the earth... I have quite a few of them and it is painful to let one go... whoever grabs it can be certain of one thing... it will only go up in value...

Re: FS: GMP Roxie

Liquidating the GMP collection?

Man, if the right one goes up for sale I'm in--if my wife says it's ok. D'oh!

Re: FS: GMP Roxie

Dood... with just over 1100 instruments ever made,,, you have to grab what you can while you have the chance...
Roxie...
Classic Color...
Smokin Top...
Contoured "Neil" Heel...
Need I say More?

That's all they made?!?!?!

I'll probably end up kicking myself in the arse for this, but to even consider dropping that kind of cabbage it would have to be exactly what I'm after.

So let me know if you ever decide to part with your:
Blue Quilt
Red Flake
Red Quilt
Looks like you have a couple burgundy quilt/flames I might be interested too.

(Yes, I saved the pics you've posted of your guitars)

I'd love to own one of these. I literally live around the corner from the old factory. I was so bummed when they closed their doors. I'd love to own a killer guitar and such a nice piece of local history as well.

But here's another bump for this beautiful guitar.
