Re: FS: Guitars
´91/´92 - ´96 470s and up have Lo-Pro Edges. After that, the Edges were only used on 550s and up, the rest got Lo-TRS II Trems
The Original Ibanez Edge bridges haven´t been in production since about ´9 2 or so, All guitars from that point got the Edge or TRS Systems (Or a Non-Floyd bridge).
The new ZR Trem and Edge Pro are about 2-3 years old, though, so it´s easy to see where the confusion starts
nuntius said:Yeah, all of the Japanese Ibanez's from that era (apart from the 470) should have the edge bridge... :/
Only the higher + sig models had the lo-pro edge (like the JEM etc).
I don't think they switched to the newer bridges till maybe 2 years ago? I forgot.
I'd go double check the serial number to see if it really is a 570 - There is a site that you can use to do that, but I forgot what it is :smack:
Then again, it could have been swapped by the previous owner.
