Hi,
I recently discovered Van Halen (yeah I know) and I built myself a Phase 90, but I never really used it. I'm more of a guitar-into-amp kind of guy.
It has a resonance pot that is similar to script/block switch on EVH phase, but can do anything in between in addition to these two sounds, depth pot and vibrato switch (when it's on it does vibrato instead of phase) in addition to standard speed pot. These are pics from inside and outside. I used high quality components (I built it for myself so I made no compromise)...
here's a quick clip I recorded using guitar -> phaser -> boss micro recorder, shows how few different settings sound
phase.mp3
The same story goes for my Ross Compressor - I built it, tried it, said "Great" and never got to use it. It's built inside an engraved wooden enclosure finished with glossy polyurethane, built by my father (he's a luthier).
I have a pic before knobs are installed:
Note that neither of them have the option to run on batteries, I never use them myself and didn't plan to sell them, but...
If you are interested let me know, I coming back to the States in 10 days and I could bring them with me if there are any takers.
Cheers,
Bancika
