Here's a nifty little pickup I wound for my Strat which has since been sold (assuming the eBayer pays up!) So I no longer have a need for it.
I've personally never been a fan of the Strat bridge position. But being huge P-90 fan I thought I'd wind a Strat sized quasi-P-90.
It shares P-90 construction in that it has Imperial nickel plated adjustable polepieces (same size as a P-90), has two bar magnets and a steel spacer. This pickup was wound with 43SPN to 11.75k (at 68 degrees), this should approximate the 8k-ish output range of a P-90 with 42AWG wire. Because it is smaller than a P-90, dual ceramic magnets are used to replicate the larger magnetic field of a P-90.
This pickup has never been installed and is like new. This pickup was hand scatterwound and is un-potted. Any pickup cover intended for a standard strat pickup will fit and it fits a standard strat pickguard rout. I only have a black cover which is included. 11" vintage style cloth leads.
$35 shipped to lower 48 CONUS. PayPal only please.
