It's a first gen "premium" with Nordstrands and active passive switch (currently not working in active!)
This is a really good bass. I'm in a conundrum over what to sell it at because the preamp doesn't work. It works only in passive mode. I'm not sure what/if anything has to be replaced, or if the electronics have to have something else for Active. The pots are all scratchy, indicating to me that the next owner must replace them.
Frankly, I don't want to be bothered with it and would rather pass it on, I have too much stuff anyways. The wood and hardware are in excellent condition. There are a couple of dings, but they are hardly noticeable because it's not paint.
Originally, the bass sold for 1149 usd "street" (can't remember what I paid, bought at a local GC)
If you are a do-it-yourselfer with electronics, this should be an excellent buy for you. The pickups are tight too
I'm going ultra shizzle here asking 350 USD then PLUS SHIPPING (USA ONLY!) The closer to Cali, the better (shipping just sucks these days, NO PARCEL POST, did that ONCE in a row! :lol: ) I have plenty of boxes and shipping material.
