This is for sale in the UK. Despite being in the top two Lesters I have ever played I've come to realise I'm all about the Customs and their ebony 'boards so this is going to fund another of those!
Basically, it's a Les Paul Standard, with 60's neck profile, one piece mahogany neck, one piece mahogany body with two piece maple cap, and shedloads of character. There is no fretwear anywhere, the rosewood 'board has been fully Fret Doctor'd and is hugely smooth.
This guitar pretty much plays itself - the action is nice and low but with enough clearance for huge bends, and the slim profile means you can absolutely rip it up. The pickups have been changed from Gibson's muddy ceramics to a Tonerider Alnico IV neck and Iron Gear Dirty Torque bridge - this combo means you can rock out with loads of harmonics and clarity at the bridge and then switch to the neck for smooth Slash/Moore PAF leads - Bonamassa also comes straight to mind with this position. Cleans are also surprisingly excellent, nice and chimy highs and deep jazzy lows.
Sustain is awesome due to the top notch construction of the guitar.
Gibson tan hardcase and '1960' pickguard are included too!
