So I have this Strat that has been kicking around for years and it is time to go, I really just don't use it no matter how cool it looks or how many ways I re-do it. Because I am just an LP guy no matter how I slice it.
It is a Squier body kustom painted by butnut (the RF is for Rat Fink), paint looks killer but it isn't a special piece of wood or anything like that though it is solid wood not a ply. Routed out, and drilled through to fit fullsized pickups in the bridge and neck positions. It has a few extra guard holes, screw holes and just has some cheap wood blocking out the trem hole under the hardtail bridge.
The neck is a Warmoth birdseye maple, light flaming, boatneck, jumbo frets the clear coat is worn off in some areas of the board. The frets have little wear on them. ESP locking tuners (made by Gotoh). Helicoils with hex head bolts to lock the neck in place and a bone nut. Really a nice neck, great for a far better project.
The guard and pups came from GFS, they are their house brand knockoffs of their H90's. These have been wax potted, sound OK but nothing off the charts just decent solid pups a little flat on the top end for P-90's IMO.
The bridge is a GPD hardtail, cheapy unit again decent and functional.
Comes with Wizard straplocks and a Rat Fink strap no case or bag. Well I have cases if you want but that would be extra, guess the same would go for a bag.
Don't really know what to ask for it I guess let me know if you are interested and we'll work something out. Cash/Paypal preferred not really looking for any trades.
It is a fun guitar and not a POS it just isn't really set up well or gig ready at the moment. I put it together for kicking around the house and to have some P-90's for recording.
ADDED - take the whole guitar and I will throw in a bag of all kinds of misc guitar stuff with it.
