That's not it. Look at the trem route for the easiest give away. The Charvel is routed for a recessed floyd. Also the forearm bevel is off.

Positively not a model 2. Those had a single hum and were rear-routed. No pickguard.

Who in there right minds would have butchered a 1 hum Model 2 into a swimming pool route of a Model 1? The route looks way too clean to have been done aftermarket. The crackle doesn't look like a nice factory crackle, but then again looks better than most of the fail crackles out there. I have no clue what it is, but Model 2 it isn't.

Ayrton, the cutaways are much wider on OPs guitar than that CX model you posted. Also the cutaways aren't as deep on the OPs guitar. I've never seen what a Model 3 looks like under the pickguard, perhaps it is a Model 3 or a refinished Model 1A drilled for a licensed Floyd?

i bet it's a model 1 (despite the fact that there are still doubters that it is a Charvel - i believe the original seller) that has been repainted and routed for a FR.

That is NOT a Charvel Model 1 body. The contour edges on your guitar are sharp and not rounded.

My peavey predator is 2-1/4"

The body is identical to a Predator bevel wise, initially that was my guess and that someone had the routing done professionally

I agree, definatly doesn't look anything like my predator.
Need to get some pickups, and black or chrome knobs for this one.

Hey, I did my best with what I had.

I knew it was NOT a model series body due to the edge sharpness.

If not Charvel, the I have no clue.

Of course, who knows what is hiding under that repaint. There could have been a vintage style trem there for all we know.

i believe there was. it was filled in and floyd holes were drilled. the dude swears up and down that it is a model 2. who knows........as of right now, i doubt anyone will buy so perhaps i'll keep hold of it for a rainy day.......

Yeah, the 2 things I don't like about it are: The neck slot makes even a jazz with a a-3 muddy, the neck is too thin for my liking. Otherwise, It's ok
