I've got a nice budget recording gear package here that I'm not using anymore.
You've got the Line 6 usb powered toneport DI audio interface. This is the gearbox silver bundle version which gave me a free upgrade to their Pod Farm 2.0 software and included all the mic preamp models, expansion packs etc. I will admit though that I never really was a huge fan of the software and actually used it with Amplitube, just a matter of personal taste, so I'm not going to really be able to answer any questions regarding the software, updates, and things of that nature so don't hold me to anything regarding that.
What I can tell you though is that its a great sounding audio interface for recording your guitar via you computer. Its usb powered, has 2 analog 1/4" output jacks and also a headphone output jack. 1/4" instrument input jack on the front and a big volume knob.
This actually makes a great sound interface even if you don't play guitar as you can hook it up to your monitor speakers and you've got that nice big knob to control volume just for everyday music listening.
Since it doesn't have a mic preamp, I'm including the excellent ART tube MP studio preamp for you as well. This is a great little box that not only provides phantom power for condenser mics, but also that can warm up any audio source with its 12ax7 tube preamp.
Even better, I upgraded the tube from the Chinese one it came with to a high quality Tung-Sol 12ax7. The original tube is included as well.
Overall you get the Toneport interface, usb cable, installation disc, ART tube preamp, power supply for the preamp, Tung-Sol 12ax7 vacuum tube, manual, and I'm even throwing in a 20 foot 1/4 to1/4" instrument cable for you.
Pretty sweet overall package IMHO that you can score for a nice low price and that you really can do quite a bit with. This gear can yield some amazing results in the right hands.
