FS: loaded strat type body by yamaha

This thing is a beater. Yamaha import strat type. I bought it just like it is and used it for a few years as a test bed. Kind of undersized but it takes a standard tele or strat neck. The bridge does not have springs on the saddles for some reason. The trem could use a few more springs too. No trem arm.

The electronics work, but they are pretty crappy sounding.

I am planning on putting it on the bay tomorrow unless someone here wants to grab it.

$45 includes shipping and fees.

I had a yamaha strat body nearly identical to this one. I sanded it down to bare wood, stained it a natural color and put a few light coats of lacquer on it. It is one of the best sounding double fat strats I have ever heard or played. Lots of potential here. A neck from warmoth or usaa and new electronics, along with that refinish and you could have a hell of a sounding guitar for not much money.

Mine even had a really nice wood grain underneath the 2" poly finish.
