FS: Mesa 2x12 Vertical Cabinet

I'm selling my Mesa 2x12 Vert cabinet, as I just stepped up to a Recto 4x12.

It's a bit beat up on the outside, but it's structurally sound and sounds amazing. It's loaded with V30's, and is wired for 16ohms.

*EDIT* - Checked the casters, all fine - I forgot I fixed it..

I'm asking $300 plus shipping from SoCal (93003). Shoot me a zip code and I'll calculated shipping for you.

E-mail/PM me with any questions.

Damn i'd love to put my Sovereign on top of that as an extension. If shipping a cab to europe wasn't such a rape on prices i'd buy it. Someone should get this.

You may wanna rethink upgrading to the 4x12... ;) I started out with a 2x12 vertical slant like the one your selling, eventually upgraded to a Mesa 4x12, and ended up downsizing back to a Mesa 2x12 (horizontal one). The 4x12 was to bulky and rediculously heavy. The 2x12 is so much more manageable to move by yourself and you still get a pretty big sound. It's just more convenient. Just giving you something to think about. :)

Too late - I had it before posting this ad.

It is huge, it is ridiculously heavy, but the 2x12 doesn't sound as good. It doesn't push as much air, and for some reason the 4x12 is just sounding better, as 4x12's usually do. It's fully worth the extra hassle, to me.

That said, this is going to be my recording cab, for the most part. I still have that kickass Rivera to leave at our practice space and to gig with. It's the same size as a Marshall 4x12, so it's not problem at all. Hell, it weighs as much as the Mesa 2x12, and isn't much wider!

You guys say you wouldn't sell it... but I doubt you'd keep that opinion if you had three cabs, and the other two sounded better ;).
