Up for sale is my much loved Michael Kelly Patriot Custom. I believe this was a NAMM guitar and I bought directly from Todd Rockfield at their headquarters. It's a beautiful guitar and in person it looks like a black and white photo with the binding done in color - it's a very nice effect. Very solid feeling and a great playing and sounding. Although I wasn't a big EMG fan, the EMG's sound great in this guitar (much to my surprise) and I also added an EMG EXG Guitar Expander to give it even more versatility. The worksmanship on this guitar is outstanding and this is surely the best Korean made guitar I have ever had my hands on. It really is a beauty and the folks who played it at Tonefest were raving about it and I had two guys ask to buy it from me on the spot. If only I knew that I needed to sell it then....
Specs: Solid mahogany body and neck, 1/2" maple carved top, ebony board, body and neck bound and inlaid w/abalone, Tone-Pros bridge, string through body, EMG® 85 neck/81 bridge, 24 3/4" scale, medium jumbo frets, 12" radius, finish is satin poly over black "wash" stain. Very light weight for an LP and has a nice open loud ringing acoustic sound, and nice low action with no buzzing. This really is a gem and I hate to part with it but I need some cash to pay some bills.
This is their top of the line Patriot Premium, not to be confused with the Patriot Custom which is also a nice guitar but is less expensive.
These sell for $629 on line plus another $100 or so for the premium case. It's getting some great reviews as well...
