This is a 1987 Squier Japan Jazz bass with a Warmoth fretted neck, and the original neck that has been defretted. The defret job was done pretty well, but I did have to do a bit of cleanup. It's now smooth, with no high spots, and mwah's wonderfully. This thing also has a new electronics setup with a set of Nordstrand NJ4SV's. These are the split coil, side by side humbuckers. It's hum-free. The Warmoth neck got a bit of damage in shipping that chipped the corner of the fretboard, but it doesn't affect how that fret plays, and I figured I'd leave it alone rather than cut off the overhang.
Both necks come with it, so you can have a dual purpose bass. I'll even include a gig bag. A little extra cash, and I'll put it in a hardcase. Because of size restrictions, I'll only ship to the 48 states, unless you REALLY want it and will cover the extra costs.
Looking for $450 plus shipping.
I'm selling it to fund a recent guitar purchase.
