I've had a few PMs asking about this since I offered it on the "Wanted MIM Strat" thread, so here's what I have:
2003 Midnight Wine MIM Fat Strat (the color is darker than the pictures show)
black/white/black Stewmac pickguard
SD Distortion (b)
SSL-5 Custom (m)
SSL-1
bone nut
push-pull to switch series-parallel
second Tone connected to humbucker; both singlecoils share other Tone control
Body cavity shielded
Schaller straplocks
MF Deluxe padded gigbag
I could throw in the original white pickguard loaded with original pickup.
The screw holes on Stewmac spring cover on the back don't quite line up - only 5 screws in it.
It's at least a 9 out of 10. There is a little pick checking just above the pickguard from when I let someone else play it, but it's hard to see. The is a tiny chip in the finish on the edge where the forearm cut meets the back edge, but it's not into the wood. No belt rash or scratches on the back. I've tried to baby it.
I have about $750 into it (plus labor on the wiring). I would consider selling it for $400 shipped anywhere in the cont. US. I would like to keep it, but I just bought a new truck and $ is a little tight right now.
