FS: Once again...Ibanez FWD60 Artcore

I've put this up before and then pulled it because I wanted to keep it, but now I have an amp that needs to be repaired, so it looks like this baby has to go!

Really cool Ibanez Artcore. All stock...has one ding on top of the headstock that seems impossible to photograph, but I can try and do my best to get a pic of it if you'd like. Not bad at all. Also of course if you want any specific pictures let me know. If you want a nice backup or want to throw a semi-hollow into the arsenal, this is great and inexpensive way to do so! I bought it new 2 years ago about, and it hasn't left the house more than maybe once.

Price is $175 + shipping...no trades. PayPal is preferred, but money orders are OK too. Lower 48 states only please.

Thanks so much!

Re: FS: Once again...Ibanez FWD60 Artcore

It's kind of a cool looking guitar. I'm kinda diggin it actually, lol...wish I knew how it sounded

Re: FS: Once again...Ibanez FWD60 Artcore

Yeah it is a looker for sure!

I will be the first to admit I'm not the best at describing tones, but I will say it is on the bright side, but really balanced at the same time. Cool, big-sounding instrument.

If it had anything other than buckers, I'd have bought this last time you listed it. It's just cool. Problem is, I'm growing bored of buckers lately. Still trying to find *the* ones for my Gibson. This'll just slow the process! :)

Good luck with the sale though, I can't believe nobody has bought this!

Hah, thanks Al. You COULD always put some Phat Cats in there, but that would end up costing about as much as the guitar itself!! I see what you're saying though about getting bored with 'buckers, I'm a single coil man myself.

Re: FS: Once again...Ibanez FWD60 Artcore

I bought an AWD82 from Odie. It has Phat Cats, and I'm putting the Crazy 8 in the bridge (Meh, s/c hum annoys me, and I want a fatter sound).

I LOVE that axe. If your's plays ANYTHING like mine, it's a fine instrument. The price is deceiving.

Re: FS: Once again...Ibanez FWD60 Artcore

My single coiled guitars don't hardly hum at all, unless under massive amounts of gain. But since I rarely play with much gain (2.6% of the time, I checked), it's all good.

What I would do is put TV Jones in (the new English mount ones). That's $300 for a set though, and I'm already buying a pair for my poor Green Buddy. So money is not entirely there.

Ever played in a bar full of tv's, neon lights, bad grounding and horrible stage lighting? They'll hum then :)

lol Nope. I'm not saying my single coils are any better than any of yours, they're the same. Just in my applications, they don't squeal, and so it doesn't bother me.

I'd bet if I played live I'd feel a little different though.

Re: FS: Once again...Ibanez FWD60 Artcore

$175!!!??? maybe if you included a gallon bucket of wood putty to fill in those big *** holes! :lmao:

Re: FS: Once again...Ibanez FWD60 Artcore

Yeah, they are GREAT guitars for the money! Someone should jump on it.

Re: FS: Once again...Ibanez FWD60 Artcore

how does it sound acoustically, not plugged in? could u play it like in the back yard or something without an amp?

Yeah, it's pretty loud. Not gonna beat out an acoustic or anything though! Definitely loud enough to play just chillin'. :beerchug:
