FS: peavey classic 50 watt tube amp $199

i'll try and post some more pictures later. i'd like to keep this a local sale to sf bay area forum brothers as i don't want to ship this. i had new tubes and new eminence swamp thang speakers (2x12) installed in it last summer. the amp is from 1979 and includes a footswitch for channel switching and turning reverb and phaser on/off. preamp is solid state, power amp is tube.

it's a great amp. i've gone back and forth with this but have finally realized that it is way more amp than i need for a being a bedroom musician. i'm going to leave this here in the trading post for awhile before putting it up on craigslist.

as heavy as that fraker is, you'll be better off not having to ship it. I've got a 1x15 here I picked up locally to fix up. They've got a lot going for them when you dig into it.

You'll sell it on craigslist in 2 days most likely. Just advertise how loud it is and some kid will beat a path to your door. Loud and mean and tubz, tubz, tubz! Kids like that loud part.

I like the one I have. But, dang,its loud.

i just dropped the price today to $149. started at $199. on the local craigslist i've had no action. hell, i'll probably go as low as $100 for any of you local guys. get in touch with me if interested.
