I have had this sitting in my parts bin for quite a while, with no real use for it. Someone must need one. 5.81K DCR.

25 bucks plus shipping. The wires have been extended, but they can be extended more if need be easily.

This is a hot little monster of a pickup. It really is 2 singles on the same plate, so you can wire it parallel, series, split it, phase it... Tons of lead left on it. These are listed for quite a chunk of change on ebay, so I'll post this one at 50 plus shipping.

Great single coil sound. These were great in the SG, but I have a set of SD 59's on the way for it, so these get to go to their next home. They are p-90-ish, but are very clean and clear (and under control... too much TV!). Sounded awesome through my AC30. I don't have any other guitars that could really use these. I'll let 'em go for $70 shipped to the 48 states

Also, the pole pieces are all adjustable with those screws.

That double red lace, Can you describe the sound in series? I have played the single red but, not a dually.

Interested in a pickup for pickup trade? Duncan for a Lace for instance?

Yeah, man. What have you got? With a good 500K pot, this pickup in series is pretty hot, yet still has some clarity. It's not excessively scooped either. The DC resistance is quite high, but as most of us know, that isn't the only contributing factor to a pickup's sound. It's cool to be able to parallel the coils, too and drop the bass content a bit. It's good stuff, just not what I am using these days.

Tell me a bit more about the Dearmonds, do they fit in regular humbucker guitars or is there some work to be done?

They need a little work. I inset them in my SG so they would fit under the strings at the neck. The neck angle and geometry is a bit different off of the guitars that these are made for, so there is some adaptation to be done. What I did was carve down into the body so the tabs sat on wood, and made black plastic "adapter" plates that covered the rest of the HB hole. It worked out quite well.

I was going to add, I need a good set of strat pickups for my Mexi strat I just picked up off of Craigslist. The stock ones are ok, but after having 70's RI pickups in my other strat, I know there are better tones to be had. So I would trade these for a set of strat pickups.

I would trade the DeArmonds for some strat pickups!

DeArmonds need a new home. Offer me trades or cash, or a combo of both!

I've played some Dearmond 2k's in a gretsch electromatic special jet, nice sounding pickups, not too hot, and not at all weak sounding.
