Fs- prs starla

SEE PRICE DROP

It's official: after a few years playing a Strat exclusively, and now picking up my Tele, I have offically become a Fender Convert in my old age.

So this will go-I'm not doing it any justice.

Up for sale is my new-ish (bought in april) Starla.I have installed a set of Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups. I also have the original Starla pickups (I believe they will need lead extensions however) AND I will include a brand new in box Duncan Screamin Demon (black) & Jazz neck(zebra). The guitar is all (REAL) Mahogany-neck is south american, body african. Great RW board. 24.5" scale. Tone of a Gibson style, but with a sightly more Fender like feel (10" radius, less neck angle). Weight is hovering around 8 pounds. Its not super light, but not uncomfy. The body is NOT chambered.

Condition- This is a 9 outta 10. If you are looking for something like brand new this is not for you. I play my guitars and don't baby them. That said, the guitar only has some EXTREMELY light scuffing on the back (nothing through the finish, and cannot even capture it in a pic-prolly can be buffed out), as well as normal scuffing on the pickguard and around the headstock tuners from string changes (again very light, and hard to detect except upon very close inspection in bright light) Fretwear (if you could call it that) extremely minimal. There are no dings or anything through the finish/ It's not perfect, but its in excellent condition-Like I said, 9 outta 10.

Tone- BIG tone- Warm/dark as expected, but every note is clear as a bell. No mud. Sustain is not the best I've had, but is very good. Lots of natural bass and low mids- reminds me of the Explorers I've had previous. With the Pearly gates this thing is sweet and nasty at the same time- beBop to Classic Metal. It can sing or crunch.

I accept PAYPAL or USPS Money Orders. I ship ONLY to the con 48 USA and a I can ONLY ship on Saturdays due to my work schedule.

I'm asking PRICE DROP $950 PRICE DROP shipped (again con 48 USA) in the (heavy!) Hardcase along with with the original strap buttons (loose), a brand new set of EB straplocks (installed), a new EB matching (burgundy) nylon strap, and the original and extra Duncan pups. The TRC is off here, but of course is included along with the case candy (wrench, hang tag, etc). I've got a few sets of strings I can throw in as well.

PS- If you've got an email account that can handle a 11MB+ email, I have a soundclip I can send of the guitar.

Thanks for looking. Please shoot me a PM if you have any questions, and I'm NOT looking for any trades, thank you.
