FS: Rewound Gibson Burstbuckers

PoorMan

MoneyForNothingologist
I rewound (hand scatterwound) these Burstbuckers out of my custom shop 1960 Gibson Reissue. The aging is natural (from playing).

At 73 degrees the bridge is 8.45k with an A5 mag. The neck is 7.73k with an A2 mag. $110 shipped in the CONUS. Paypal only. No trades. I can only ship on Saturdays.

this may seem a bit out there, but is there any chance i could get the a2 mag you pulled from the bridge model?

Re: FS: Rewound Gibson Burstbuckers

How do they sound compared to the originals?

I haven't played (or even heard) Burstbuckers for a very long time so I can't really do a detailed compare and contrast thing. But I can tell you the bridge is definitely snottier with more attitude and the neck is smoother. Being unpotted and handwound they got some more character to them as well.

I can speak first hand of PoorMan's pickup winding prowess. His pups ROCK!!!! Bluesman you are going to love them.
