As talked about in this thread: https://forum.seymourduncan.com/showthread.php?t=194999

I'm trying to buy a Strat, but need to find new homes for a few other things first.

So, I have 4 Roadstars and 4 Proline Ibanezes up for grabs. I'm putting group shots up here now, if anyone is interested in any of them, I'll take a whole bunch of hi-res pics and send them to you directly.

Prices are in US funds and include shipping to anywhere in North America. Hawaii and Alaska included.

So here goes!

Roadstars:

From Left to Right:

1986 Roadstar II RG425PR. Pearl Red Colour. It's completely original right down to the V shaped strap buttons and the arm for the Edge Trem. The Maple neck is finished with oil and is very comfortable to the touch and to play. Pickups are IBZ, each one has a push/push pot to split to single coil. The HH configuration with the pickups right next to each other gives some cool tones, and the bridge/middle both split can get almost like a Strat in position 2. This is a very rare model and was one of the hardest to find when I was gathering these. Basswood body, Maple/Rosewood neck.
*** SOLD ***

1986 Roadstar II RG110BK. Black Colour. This one was originally a single humbucker, but the previous owner did a major hack job of putting in a pair of single coils and a 5 way switch. I had the pickguard assembly from an RG135WH that I sold the body neck and bridge from a while ago, so I put it on. It worked well for me since I have another 110 already. :) So it's got 3 Super 7F pickups in a traditional config with a 5 way switch, and it has an added phase reversal switch wired to the middle pickup, giving the option of real hollow notch positions. Everything else is original except the trem arm. I have put an Edge one on. Basswood body, maple/rosewood neck.
$275.00

1986 Roadstar II RG530BP. Black Pearl Colour. *** Decided not to sell this one ***

1986 Roadstar II RG120BK. Black Colour. Same basic specs as the 110, but loaded with a pair of Super 70 pickups, which are splittable with the usual dual P/P pots. This was a surprise when it arrived. It's 24 years old, and there is literally no fret wear, and it is completely original. I have the original trem arm for it even (hard to find). The arm in the pic is an Edge one, but I would include the original one instead.
*** SOLD Thanks MasterKtulu!!! ***

Now for the Prolines:

IMG_0015.jpg

Left to right:

1986 Proline PL2550SP. Silver Pearl colour. The is a 3 piece maple neck through with a triple bound Ebony fretboard and bound headstock. I got this from our own Frank Falbo and it's a great guitar. The body is made of Alder. Pickups are the IBZ humbucker and a pair of Super 7FT singles. Switching is the standard 5 way, plus a set of buttons that work as a preset system. The humbucker is splittable with the P/P tone pot and with one of the buttons on the preset system. It is completely original. The hardware is White Gold plated.
$500.00

The Mutt: The body is a 1986 PL1880NW. Natural Wood Colour and the neck, which I got from Frank also is stamped PL1770 and has a 1987 S/N on the headstock. The 1880 and 1770 necks were the same. The body is a maple/mahogany/maple sandwich and the neck is oil finished maple with a triple bound ebony fretboard. Someone in the guitar's past hacked away at the lower cutaway, so I drum sanded it round again to make it look better. Doesn't seem to affect the tone at all. The guitar gives Les Paul tones but with Ibanez playability. The pickups are the same as the 2550, but without the switching system, and it uses 3 mini on-off switches instead of a blade switch. I didn't put a p/p pot in to split the humbucker as I didn't have any at the time, but if someone is interested in this one and would like it, I can change the tone pot, as I have some now.
*** SOLD ***

1986 Proline PL1880WN. Walnut colour. This one is exactly the same guitar as the one above, but the sandwich is Walnut/mahogany/walnut. This one is completely original and ready to rock. Same pickups/switching as the one above. P/P pot is present.
$500.00

1986 Proline PL1770SP. Silver Pearl Colour. This is basically the bolt-on sister to the 2550. Alder body, Oiled maple neck with Triple bound ebony fretboard, IBZ and Super 7F pickups, 5 way, P/P and Preset system. This one has White Gold hardware too.

I also have 6 original hard shell cases in great condition that I will add to any of these for an extra $50. If you'd like one, I'll provide pics of the ones available and you can choose. They will be a first-come first served kind of thing. I also have one original hard shell that is missing some of the tolex and is rather ugly. If you want that one, it would be an extra $20.

I'm open to reasonable offers!

Thanks!
