Hey guys, sucks to have to do this, but i need to raise some money to get a JP6, and this is one of the few pieces of gear that as much as i love it, i dont NEED it for what im doing.
Im in Washington DC and im looking for 1200 bucks for the amp, and if you need it shipped in the CONUS ONLY, it will run you 50 bucks. However if you are in the DC, MD and VA area and you will do a cash and carry deal, ill do it for 1150!
Its in great condition, just one minor scratch on the top right corner which is kinda hard to see, but other than that its in perfect condition and the tubes have plenty of life on them!
Since this is kind of a rare amp i figured i should try to best describe it sound (ill try to make a video that showcases its tones as well) , but its supposed to be a slightly more gainy version of the Hot Rod series. Its a single channel amp, but it has a low and high gain input. The cleans are glassy and defined and when you turn up the gain it breaks up in a really well in a dirty bluesy kind of way. On the high gain input, you can clean it up by rolling the gain back on the amp or the volume on your guitar as its extremely responsive, but push the gain past 12 o'clock and you are in high gain terrirorry, tons of nicely voiced midrange and harmonic content so every note in your chord rings out clearly and musically! Also it is very pedal friendly, and i personally like sticking a tubescreamer in front as it actually can become pretty djenty too!!
The best part is the way it opens up, when i took it to practice it was actually louder than my guitarists engl powerball, but retained the nice midrange voicing and tightness is had at lower volumes!
Anyways, pm me if you are interested!
