9.9/10 condition.
Cool top, color is not for me and nor are the active electronics (and 3 way switch. I miss intermediate positions...). Selling to fund a CS one, this time in blue, of course
Had some work done to it: new nut (original nut wasn't as wide as the neck, slots were too wide, and string spacing was uneven), and a hole under the high E saddle to the electronics cavity to allow for future passive pickups (without it, no pickup ground!). It's very clean, I forgot about it until I took the saddle off.
EMG 55/66 set, with 3 way switch
Endurneck, 25-25.5" scale lengths, 16-20" fingerboard radius, Swamp-ash body, maple neck, ebony board. Speaking of which, this is one NICE ebony piece!
Chambered, and overall awesome guitar. No trades unless for another Boden 6 in different color and with passive electronics (5 way switch at the very least).
ONLY blemish is on the truss rod gap: I've attached a picture.
Here's the thing: SEATTLE PICKUP ONLY! Not quite willing to send this one out yet. If it doesn't bite locally, I'll open it up to US buyers.
Funny story: I believe this is the exact guitar shown in https://strandbergguitars.com/product/boden-headless-custom-6-string-guitar/ (one with the EMGs of course)!
Additional pic: this is the ONLY damage on the guitar. I was adjusting the neck using the SHORT side of the allen key, and unfortunately it started compressing the wood since the hole is not level (the 'headstock' is curved).
