PRICE DROP! $40 + shipping!

Yanked this one out of my H&K a while back, its been sitting in my room for a while and it needs a new home. The sticker on the back is peeling a little bit, but other than that its in great condition.

I'm interested in either a 16 ohm celestion vintage 30 or a hellatone 60 in trade for this...though I may be open to trades for FX pedals. PM me with any offers. Otherwise, I'm looking for about 40 dollars on this one plus shipping. Shipping will be USPS parcel post or priority mail, buyer's choice.

I'd also be interested in a trade for a regular-spaced JB. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Do you know if that is close to any production model?

It is like a Classic Lead 80 with more power handling. Awesome speaker.

Re: FS/T: Celestion C90 Black Shadow 8 ohm speaker - $50

They're pretty different speakers really...the C-90's are much smoother than the V-30's. I'd say they have far more in common with the G12T-75 than the V-30...though they're much fatter and clearer than a G12t-75 if ya ask me. (I've never tried the classic 80). Great choice for a 1X12 combo.

Well, I'm not looking for more power but smoother and less harsh. Not so loud sounding. A 1x12 closed back combo is what I have. What did this originally go to?

Re: FS/T: Celestion C90 Black Shadow 8 ohm speaker - $50

I know Mesa/Boogie uses em in their 1X12 cabs, as well as a few of their 1X12 combos. I got this one in my Hughes and Kettner edition tube 20 when I bought it off of destroying angel. The amp's changed hands a couple of times on the forum...I believe it was milkbone that put the C90 in there originally.

It's definitely not as "in your face" as the V30 is. Though, it can get plenty loud. A buddy of mine used to run a rack system through a single Mesa 1X12 with this speaker in it, and his setup sounded friggin huge.

hey if Kjrocks doesn't want it, I could swing a JB your way to trade for it (it's black, regular spaced, with logo)

If you, or anyone else, is ready to move on this,go ahead. I just dont know for sure if this what I want or not. I just dont know enough about many speakers.

Bump, and a price drop to $40 plus shipping. I can no longer accept trades at the moment, as I need a little cash flow. PM me if you're interested.

Tonal qualities? Size? I know very little about speakers. I have tossed around the idea for some time of experimenting a bit with Franklin, or making and external cab for it.
