FS - Tele EMG EMG-FT HII Pickup set

I am selling a set of EMG-FT active pickups that I just pulled off my 86 Squier Tele. I think I had them dropped in around 88. They have been played hard... The gold EMG is worn pretty much all the way off.

These are from before EMG went with the quick change set up and both pick ups have plenty of wire left on them and I have all of the original mounting hardware and the battery connector.

I am looking for $100 (including shipping in CONUS)

I also have some other parts off the tele if you are interested... Body, Fender marked Gotoh tuners, neck plate, control plate with original pots and switch... all going up on ebay later this week. Let me know if you are interested.

You can reach me at jimdier@gmail.com

Re: FS - Tele EMG EMG-FT HII Pickup set

Had a few requests for info on the other Tele Parts

The guitar was purchased new in 86 or 87. I wound up sharing it with the guitar player in my band and then it became his main gigging axe. I have tried my best to capture the dings and dents... it is
pretty beat up... Not like a joe strummer guitar, but like a tele that
has been gigged hard for 20 years.

The body is black. It originally was an 86 era Squier. It started as
a top loader then when I had the EMG's dropped in I had an aftermarket
string through bridge put on it. The shop that did it (Crown Music,
Milw, WI) did a pretty hack job on the drilling and it resulted in
some chips in the back of the guitar where the ferruls come through.
The only original squier parts I have are the body, the control plate,
the pots and switch, the neck plate (which is plain, not F or fender)
and the fender marked tuners that say gotoh on the hidden surface.

The guitar body has 1 chunk a bit larger than a quarter from a fall.
It is all the way through the finish to the bare wood. This happened
back in 1990 or 91 and I had the shop put a little clear lacquer on it
so it would not continue to chip away. This was done really well.
You can still see the chip, but in the last 15 years it has not
continued to chip more. There are dimples and surface scratches and
pick marks all over the body, but it is still in decent shape.

The after market bridge is a super beefy chrome string-through with 6
chrome saddles. It needs a bit of cleaning up but I would use it
again in a second.

I have another brand new fender Pat. Pend. vintage bridge plate with
no screws, springs or saddles. It is set up for string through and 3
vintage saddles.

I think I can do better than these prices on ebay given the year of
squier manufacture, but I will sell for less to avoid the hassle of
ebay.
