Fender telecaster body.
Alder, MIM, and I do not know the year (the stamp in the neck is faded/gone after “OCT”) but I suspect it is somewhere around 98-02.It is alder and routed for a humbucker in the neck and a traditional tele bridge.
Finish is black.
$100 for body, bridge, and string-through ferrules
I’ll sell it with or without an electrosocket, black Dunlop strap locks, control plate (no electronics), and knobs. Obviously, adjustments would be made to the price accordingly. If interested, we’ll talk and work out a deal.

Seymour Duncan SM-2n Mini-Humbucker. Chrome cover, four conductor, ~10” of lead. $50

Seymour Duncan Hot Rails for tele. Black, 4 conductor, ~9” of lead. $50

Warmoth red pearloid pickguard for tele. Routed for mini-humbucker.
$12 to your door, or I’ll throw it in with a deal on the SM-2n for $5

I also have:
Seymour Duncan SH-14 Custom 5. Nickel cover, four conductor, ~7” of lead. Mounting tabs were rounded to fit Ibanez, tab threads still intact. $45

Line 6 Tap Tremolo
Knobs control dynamic speed, peak, depth, and shape. The three tremolo models are opto, bias, and stereo panning. Speed can also be set with the tap feature. The pedal is built like a tank - very heavy for a pedal. Requires 9VCDC power supply with a 70 mA minimum (not included). Stereo inputs and outputs. Original box and owner's manual included. $60

At this time I am not interested in any trades. All prices include shipping and paypal fees for the CONUS. All items shipped via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. Paypal preferred, money orders accepted. If asked, I can provide additional pics of anything up for sale.

Re: FS: Telecaster neck, body, parts, pickups

Call it a studio clean out sale. It's just stuff I no longer have use for.

The tele was a beautiful guitar, but the neck and my hands just weren't made for each other.

Re: FS: Telecaster neck, body, parts, pickups

if that neck had inlays i'd have probably goen for it =/ good luck with the sales mate.

Re: FS: Telecaster neck, body, parts, pickups

Crap, If I didn't have 9 guitars already (5 cases), I'd totally be all over that neck and body. I need to buy cases if anything.

Re: FS: Telecaster neck, body, parts, pickups

That neck would be a nice start to a Tele that I want to put together... any pics of the back of the neck? How would you compare the neck profile to a Gibson 60's neck?

Re: FS: Telecaster neck, body, parts, pickups

Here are three more pics of the neck:

Compared to the 60s slim taper... they are close, though Warmoth's standard thin profile has always been a fairly honest copy modern Fender neck carve and a gnat's ass thinner than a 60s taper. The Fender C profile has always felt like a slightly softer C in my hands, too. I'd say the bigger difference is the radius - this is a 12" radius, while Gibson necks are typically 16."

Hope that helps.

Mike

Re: FS: Telecaster neck, body, parts, pickups

I understand that Tele necks and Strat necks have different heel shapes, I don't really remember the difference (one rounded, one square?), but I seem to remember something about warmoth necks all being made to fit a Strat heel. I'm planning on getting a used Fender Highway 1 Tele body, would it fit on that without any gaps around the ends of the pocket?

That neck is a standard Tele Shape, so it should be no problem with your Hwy 1 body.

And a bump for a sweet tele neck...

Re: FS: Telecaster neck, body, parts, pickups

That neck is down right sweet looking. Someone ought to snatch it up quick.

Re: FS: Telecaster neck, body, parts, pickups

I'm getting excited about this project, I should be getting this tele neck as soon as I hear back from Mike.
