THANKS TO ALL.

Please read carefully. Most of the information you'd want should be in here. :)

For Sale: Three (3!) Seymour Duncan Custom Shop RTM model pickups. All are f-spaced/trem-spaced and all are black and all are bridge models. All are signed by Warren DiMartini and Seymour Duncan - one is also signed by MJ. The suggested specs from SD are:

D.C. Resistance: 17.6 KOhms
Resonant Peak: 4.40 KHz
Magnet Type: Alnico 2 bar
Inductance: 8.83 Henry

"But D-Phinny," you ask "you rave about these! Why would you sell them?!" Excellent question! I have a total five (5!) of these and as I keep amassing more custom and boutique pickups, I'm running out of guitars to put them in.... so.... I'm going to cut my limit of any custom or boutique model down to a maximum of two (2!) - and before you ask, dear friends, this is the only model I have more than two (2!) of.

You may also ask, "D-Phinny, what do these sound like?" While many have a really good idea, those that don't would be best served to hit up Google or the SDUGF search feature... or maybe just imagine MJ hand-winding you a pickup that has all the best qualities of one of the best-selling and longest-running models in the production, but with sweeter-sounding highs and a certain sparkle to big chords with evenly balanced notes.

Before we take a peek at these monsters of tone, let's handle some basic housekeeping:
  • I will not put anything on hold - whoever shows up with the $ first will get it/them.
  • Not interested in trades, unless you have a f-spaced custom shop Crazy 8 or a f-spaced custom shop Super V or an Éclair set.
  • All payments via PayPal 'friend' method (you pay the PP fees). If you do not know what that means, please check it out on the PP site.
  • Shipping/handling fees will be included in the pricing and will come with a tracking # once it is shipped.
  • Shipping if for lower 48 - if you are somewhere else, please contact me first to discuss accommodations.
  • What you see is what you get.
  • All pickups are in working order.

Let's get this one out of the way, since there may be one or two that will turn there nose up at this gem.

It has just over 11" of 4-con lead wire. No logo. I believe this is the one that I bought pre-owned, as I have never had a cover on any of my RTMs. I did put the nuts on the legs and they do work - it just came out of a guitar where it was in a pickup ring. Considering the cost and shipping of a new one, this is 1/2-off for anyone that wants a working custom shop pickup.

SOLD!

This next one may be the first one that MJ actually made for me.

It has over 12" of 4-con lead wire. Logo. This one was direct-mounted - I can include the nuts if you want to attach them yourself, of for $5 more I will do it for you.

SOLD

The 3rd and final one is a cream puff. Got it from MJ at the Guitar Show this past April. It's also signed by her.

It has over 12" of single-con lead wire. Logo. Mounting posts are all solid.

SOLD.

if you are wanting to start out the new year with better tone, look no further.

Re: FS: Three Custom Shop Warren DiMartini RTM humbuckers

these are being put up on other boards and elsewhere online.

don't start 2014 without good tone. jump on one or both of these while they are still here.

Nice post.

thanks for the feedback. :D

THIS ACTUAL PICKUP SHOWN HERE HAS SOLD! but the same mounting options could apply to the final pickup if the mounting nuts that are currently attached don't float your boat

here is an update with some options on the 2nd pickup shown above. in either case, I'll include the preferred option in to the deal for free.

I have some Strat-style screws that work in the middle hole - you'd just need to widen the holes in the mounting ring a little bit. they have 3/4" of thread.

or...

I also have a trembucker mounting ring:

Re: FS: Three Custom Shop Warren DiMartini RTM humbuckers

and... in a rare instance of compassion for earthlings that lack Custom Shop tone... I am offering the following for the next 24 hours.

buy either of the two Seymour Duncan Warren DiMartini RTM Custom Shop bridge pickups that remain, and I will reduce $10 from the price of each. if you buy both, I will reduce $30 total. so... the first one listed would be $85 shipped.... the second one would 'start' at $95 shipped. but them both for 'as little as' $170 shipped (that is less than the cost of just 1 new one shipped from the CS).

everything else applies. 1st to play, 1st to play... no 'holds'. PayPal, buyer covers PP fees.

effective for 24 hours from the timestamp on this post. after that, I will not be offering any other price reduction on these.

Re: FS: Three Custom Shop Warren DiMartini RTM humbuckers

2nd one sold.

1 remains... the one with the attached mounting nuts.

those can also be removed and the ^ above ^ alternative mounting options could apply.
