Couple months ago I broke my rule of never buying a guitar without playing it first... not really bonding with this one so I figured I'd see if there's any interest.
Its a 1994 MIJ Ibanez Talman; birdseye maple neck with all-access heel; gotoh hardware; Kent Armstrong lipstick pickups; entirely stock. Neck shape is pretty fat for an Ibanez, similar to a Fender modern C, maybe a hair thicker. Nut is 1 5/8" which is part of MY problem with it...
I put a ton of work into sorting out the undisclosed setup & electronics issues. Totally rebuilt the thing and it plays & sounds GREAT now but maybe because of that its got some weird mojo with me. Though I think its the skinny nut...
Anyway straty tones are here in spades, and overall its got a DanO vibe but with the Ibanez playability, and its not made out of duct tape and chewing gum like a DanO.
I paid $400 + shipping so I'm looking for the same out of it, or a trade for???
Price is firm but I'll even include the cheese-whiz gig bag that it came with. These normally move for $600 +
