As good as this guitar looks/sounds/plays I just haven't bonded with it. The fact that this is the last guitar I reach for after my new strat and my partsocaster (and that every other Gibson-esque guitar I've owned has been sold off) has just confirmed that I'm a Strat guy! So, rather than holding onto a great guitar like this and not playing it, I'd like to offer it up for someone else.
Mid-90's model Studio wraptail in natural, serial #645200. Possibly a 1-piece mahogany body (I can't spot the seams if not), thick maple cap, mahogany neck with a nice chunky profile. Rosewood fretboard, Schaller tuners, strap lock-ready buttons (lock assembly for your strap included). I installed a Duncan Custom 5 in the bridge and a Jazz bridge in the neck. This guitar is in EXTREMELY good shape, with just a couple of minor cosmetic issues. I'll try to capture pictures of anything I can. There are no dings or scratches through the paint, and no "Hameritis" at the neck joint.
Also included is a Pigtail lightweight aluminum tailpiece that literally just came in the mail today. I ordered it on June 2, and it arrived today. It's intonatable, unlike the stock unit, and is a drop-in replacement. Will ship in the OHSC as well.
I'm asking $850 shipped/Paypal'd in the CONUS if you want the Pigtail tailpiece, or $750 shipped if not. I paid $750 for this guitar just over a month ago and am just adding the $100 the tailpiece cost me. I can also accept a USPS money order.
Pics coming soon, going to take some new shots.
