FS USA Peavey Predator

Re: FS USA Peavey Predator

Not too much really. A Tonelab ST is the only little toy I've been thinking of lately. What have you got?

Re: FS USA Peavey Predator

Is that the way it came (with two bridge singles). I have a USA Predator but it's just a regular Strat pickguard.

Great guitar as mentioned - holds up well to my two MIM Strats.

Re: FS USA Peavey Predator

I'm seriously interested.

A few questions...

Is this guitar stock?
Can the bridge pups be split? (my guess is yes)
Neck chunky or skinny?
Case or bag included?

Re: FS USA Peavey Predator

Definitely a steal. I just saw one on Craigslist yesterday for 3 bills.

Its as I bought but someone on another forum has told me its must not be the original neck. That pickup config is the AX model and he said all AX's were marked on the headstock. It seems to me I've seen others like this so I'm not sure if he's correct or not.
The neck is not skinny, its good size, similar to typical strats but not huge chunky like some LP's or Teles. The board is a little flatter than my AM Standard and plays very easily.
The pickup config is pretty cool. The 3 way toggle gives you three option. One is the bridge, split to one single coil. The second runs the 2 bridge pups in series for a full humbucker. The 3rd position switches you to full HB bridge regardless of the position of the 5 way which is cool because you can easily jump from a neck or middle position to the bridge and back quickly.
No bag or case is included. I will take the neck off the body and pack them both neatly and safely for shipping.

My headstock says Peavey Predator Crafted in the USA.

If yours is the same, I'd call the neck profile a modern C. About the same as a MIM Strat or Gibson 60s neck. I hate fat necks and wouldn't have bought it if it was beefy.

I'd agree with that and thanks.

I honestly didnt think I'd have to Ebay this. I guess I could throw it on Craiglists first.
